Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the C4T Wallet application and this website.

Last updated: August 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, accessing or using C4T Wallet or this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the application or the website. You confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms and that your use complies with the laws applicable to you.

2. Non-custodial nature of the service

C4T Wallet is a non-custodial wallet. Private keys and recovery phrases are generated and stored on your device and remain under your exclusive control. We do not hold, control, transfer or have access to your assets, and we cannot recover keys, reverse transactions or restore access on your behalf.

3. No financial advice

Nothing provided through the application or the website constitutes financial, investment, legal, accounting or tax advice, nor a recommendation to acquire, hold or dispose of any digital asset. You are solely responsible for your decisions and should seek independent professional advice where appropriate.

4. Third-party services

Certain functionality, including swaps, bridges, on-ramp purchases, market data and third-party trading destinations, is provided by independent third parties. C4T Wallet acts as a non-custodial wallet and access layer.

Trading conditions, execution, pricing, availability, eligibility and compliance requirements are managed by the relevant third-party platform under its own terms. We do not endorse, guarantee or assume responsibility for third-party services, and we are not a custodial exchange, broker or derivatives operator.

5. User responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Securing your device, passcode, biometrics and recovery phrase
  • Maintaining a valid backup of your recovery phrase
  • Verifying recipient addresses, networks, amounts and fees
  • Reviewing token allowances and connected applications
  • Complying with all laws, tax obligations and restrictions applicable to you

You must not use the service for unlawful purposes, including fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion or infringement of third-party rights.

6. Blockchain risks

Blockchain transactions are irreversible once broadcast. Networks may experience congestion, forks, reorganisations, outages, smart contract vulnerabilities or protocol changes. Digital asset values are volatile and may decline significantly. You accept these risks when using the service. See our Risk Disclosure for further detail.

7. Service availability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free or secure operation, and we may modify, suspend or discontinue features, integrations or supported networks at any time, including for regulatory or technical reasons. Availability may vary by region and platform.

8. Intellectual property

The C4T Wallet name, logo, interface and content are protected and may not be copied, modified or used without prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of assets, profits, data or opportunity arising from: loss or disclosure of your recovery phrase; transactions you authorise; failures, restrictions or losses relating to third-party services; blockchain network conditions; or unauthorised access to your device.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after publication of a revised version constitutes acceptance of the changes.
